California Power Exchange

The California Power Exchange Corporation (a.k.a. “CPX”), a State chartered, non-profit corporation charged with providing DayAhead and Hour-Ahead markets for energy and ancillary services, if it chooses to self-provide, in accordance with the power exchange tariff. The power exchange is a Scheduling Coordinator and is independent of both the Independent System Operator and all other market participants.
